Does anyone else find traditional maritime navigation totally overrated now?

Are AI auto-pilots making sailing less about skill and more about tech?

Is it stupid to pay for a mooring ball when a rusty anchor and a bit of chain work just fine?

Does AIS make colreg-based radar watchkeeping totally obsolete, or are you just lazy if you rely on it?

Do real sailors still respect motor yachts, or is that just pretending to be a sailor?
